How did it start?
Yazyk’s directors are fond of languages. They speak French, English, Russian, German and Spanish. Back in 2011, they realized there was a gap in the market for affordable yet highly professional translations services.
They started the business as translation agency in July 2011 in Paris (sole trader status). They settled in London in 2013, a third office was opened in New York in 2014. The company was fully incorporated in 2015. Then secondary offices were opened in Madrid, Milan and Berlin between 2015 and 2018 and the new services were launched in order to address a larger audience.
10 project managers, hundreds of active customers in more than 31 countries, 10,500+ vetted native and industry-specific consultants, 10 managed projects every day.
More recently, whilst dealing with daily customers’ enquiries, Yazyk’s founders found out how difficult it was to respond quickly, in real-time and deal with all the regular incoming projects.
